My name is Sheila Simmons, I'm a certified and
experienced personal trainer in the Greater Chicago area. I
have spent several years taking people from where they are to
where they want to be. Since I'm knowledgeable in the subject
and my clients are always saying how more people need to know
the truth about fitness, I decided to write this letter in the
hopes that you will read it, enjoy it and of course benefit
from it.
I know you are busy so I will not waste any of
your time, and I will not sugar coat anything for you. I am a
straight shooter and I think you will appreciate that. So let's

Why is it so hard for most people to get
results. Here are the three most important reasons why fitness
is such a struggle.

Fitness Hype - Let's be
honest, we are bombarded with marketing thousands of time per
day. Not only can it be annoying but it becomes very difficult
to decipher what is truth and what is hype. Here's a quick rule
that you have heard before. "If it sounds too good to be true,
it probably is." When you see the next great fitness
infomercial that claims you can get six pack abs, with little
or no exercise, in only 5 minutes a day. The truth is, you
can't. Getting a six pack takes hard work and depends heavily
on wether or not you know which exercises to do and how to do
them properly.
Now, when you hear me talk about my programs
and that I GUARANTEE that you will achieve your goals, you know
that it is not hype. We will set your goals together to make
sure that you are setting goals that are realistic and
obtainable. I will not let you set yourself up for failure.

Knowledge - What comes to
mind when you think of a personal trainer. That they are fit
right? That they must workout all the time. Honestly, some
might but most trainers work out as often as the average gym
goer. They just know how to workout properly. Let's face it,
fitness has evolved since your 7th grade gym class. There are
so many more effective exercises that are used by personal
trainers that help enable them to stay in great shape.
You are not alone when you wonder around the
gym trying to think of new exercises to try. Most people only
know a handful of exercises (many of them do more harm than
good). Guess what, when you do the same exercises over and over
your body gets used to it and it no longer becomes effective
for building muscle, increasing metabolism, etc.

trainer will broaden your horizon when it comes to working out.

based on your goals and your body type.
Motivation and Support - The number one reason
why most people fail, is lack of motivation and or support. In
order to see results from a fitness program you have to do it
consistently, without too many setbacks. Most of the time
people either lose interest, get caught up in work and family
drama, or just get bored. It is so much easier to not workout.
Even the highly energetic, always motivated people need a
push.
Working with a personal trainer will provide
you with the motivation you need when you just don't feel like
going to the gym or you're feeling to tired. Your trainer will
push you when you need it and support you when you need a
hand.
If personal training is so great, why doesn't
everyone hire a personal trainer. Well, the answer is that they
just don't understand. Unlike you, they haven't sought after
this type of educational information. They think they know it
all, or they think they can't afford it. The funny thing is
that the cost of being out of shape, and setting a poor example
for your family, far outweighs any costs associated to hiring a
personal trainer.
